Fields of Mistria Void Items: Full Guide to Void Stones, Powder, Herbs, Pearls

Overview

Fields of Mistria void items are a set of four magical materials introduced in the v0.15.0 update. They are exclusively tied to the story quest Creating The Void Mass, which becomes available after you reach Floor 80 of the Mines. The four void items are:

• Void Stone
• Void Powder
• Void Herbs
• Void Pearls

You need exactly 5 of each to complete the quest. These items are only visible and harvestable after the Priestess grants you the Void Sight magic spell. Without Void Sight, you will not see void nodes, void herbs, or void pearls in the Mines, and void powder will not drop from monsters.

How to Obtain Void Items

All four void item types are gathered inside the Mines. The Priestess explains that your new Void Sight ability "will allow you to see and harvest these items throughout the Mines." Here is what is currently verified about each item's acquisition:

Void Stone

Void Stones are obtained through Mining. After unlocking Void Sight, look for Void Stone Nodes in the Mines. These function like regular mining nodes but only appear once you have the Void Sight spell active.

Void Powder

Void Powder drops from slaying any monsters in the Mines. The quest journal lists "Any Monsters" as the source, meaning there is no single enemy type you need to farm. As long as you have Void Sight active, monster kills should generate Void Powder drops.

Void Herbs

Void Herbs are harvested from forageable plants in the Mines. They become visible only after Void Sight is active. The Priestess does not specify exact floors for Void Herbs, so you may need to explore multiple Mine levels to find enough.

Void Pearls

Void Pearls are also harvested from the Mines. Like Void Herbs, they only appear after Void Sight is active. The exact spawn locations are not documented in the available source material, so expect to search across Mine floors.

Uses

The only verified use for void items in Fields of Mistria is completing the Creating The Void Mass story quest. You must place all 20 items (5 of each type) into the Cauldron in the Void Seal room. The Priestess then transforms the resulting Void Mass into a Void Player—a decoy used to open the Ruins Seal without endangering you.

This quest is mandatory to progress the main story. Completing it unlocks the follow-up quest "Breaking The Ruins Seal", which ultimately grants access to the Ruins biome.

Version Context

The void items and the Creating The Void Mass quest were added in v0.15.0 of Fields of Mistria. If you are playing an earlier version, these materials will not appear in your game.
