Moving furniture in Fields of Mistria isn't immediately obvious—the game never teaches you the mechanic. The good news is that any placed furniture item can be picked up and repositioned freely. You don't need to destroy it or lose it permanently.

Direct outcome: With a pickaxe equipped, you can left-click any furniture item to pick it up, then place it somewhere else in your home. The item returns to your inventory if you don't immediately place it.
